Ceginfach Butchers, Bakers and Grocers Blocks are made with pride and passion by team of two, Jon and Sonia, working from a small workshop in rural North Wales, using beautiful Welsh wood wherever possible.
Ceginfach translates as ‘little kitchen’, and Ceginfach Butchers, Bakers and Grocers Blocks are just that – kitchens in miniature, offering everything you need close to hand, and wherever you need it!
Each piece is bespoke and made to your specification – in your chosen Farrow & Ball paint colour, to your measurements, and with any of the additions that we offer: a slide-under serving board, a rolling pin with cradle to leave your work top free, an extra shelf, a useful towel rail, and even a Welsh oak tray, ideal for serving breakfast in bed, or high tea out in the garden!
Supplied with four casters as standard, two of which are lockable, your Ceginfach can be moved with ease to wherever you are working, handy for anywhere from kitchens to beach huts and bars!
Everything is hand-crafted and hand-painted here in North Wales, with painstaking care. We use traditional construction methods, tools and materials alongside modern machinery to produce each individual piece of furniture.
No short cuts are taken when making our furniture and each piece is made individually, with close attention to detail. Nothing is rushed and each piece is finished by hand and checked over thoroughly before leaving our workshop, fire branded with our distinctive Ceginfach logo.
We believe that our passion for making Ceginfach furniture is reflected in the beauty and functionality of each piece we make and we simply can’t say it any better than the great William Morris:
“Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful”.
